Dalgety Bay

After a brief hiccup against Aberdeen, Parscelona returned to winning ways with a convincing victory over, oh I don't know, somebody's work team or something.

Although they enjoyed the better of the play, Parsca took a while to make the breakthrough. Fraser Adamson fired a well struck shot wide of the target with his first effort and Neil Holland and Alan Maxwell both sent shots wide of the post.

Fraser's second attempt was more successful - Ross McGregor's lay-off was met by Fraser who wellied it with gusto and left the Blues' keeper with no chance.

Wet conditions made the ball slippery but while many of Parsca's moved broke down with miscontrol on the skiddy surface, their lead was extended a few minutes later as a direct result of the conditions. Ross McGregor's shot was straight at the keeper but hit well enough that it squirmed from his grasp in the rain, and Alan Maxwell nipped in to stroke the rebound into the net.

Further shots failed to trouble the keeper and Parsca's last chance of the half came when Grant Macleod was bundled to the ground for what looked like a certain penalty. The referee was having none of it and Alan Maxwell's effort when latching onto the loose ball was poor.

With most of the first team being subbed at half time, Stuart Manson and Keith Mackie (replaced by Jim Norris in goals for the second half) managed to squander a few chances between them before Parscelona finally grabbed a third.

Peter Wordie played a neat one-two with Keith Mackie at the edge of the box, allowing the former to bypass the defence and chip a neat effort past the out-rushing keeper.

Keith Mackie made it four when he found himself with plenty of space in the box and, watched by his dad from the opposition dugout, slotted the ball smartly past the helpless keeper.

Hopes of a clean sheet were dashed when the visitors grabbed a consolation goal from a Jim Norris blunder. Having dealt with a couple of balls into the box easily enough, Jim put himself under pressure after receiving a passback from one of his own defenders. Delaying slightly too long with his kickout, he allowed himself to be closed down by a striker, whose deflection sent the ball into the path of his attacking colleague, who scored with ease.

Parscelona returned to dominance before long and were denied by great point-blank double save from the keeper, throwing himself in the way of efforts by Keith Mackie then Callum Norris. The less said about Johnnie's frankly embarrassing attempt at an overhead kick the better.

The final, and best, goal of the game came towards the end courtesy of Ali McLeod, who sent a delightful chip looping high over the keeper from about 25 yards.
