A good pitch, but unfortunately rain, driving wind, no referee, and a turnout of only 6 Aberdeen players meant it wasn't the best of games. Chances went astray for both teams, and frankly that's all I can be bothered writing. Thanks to the six Aberdeen lads who did make the effort though, and also to the five Parscelona players who kindly agreed to play for the opposition (with the exception of Keith Rapley whose quick turn made me look a right tit). "We won. I think it was 7-3 but I'm not sure. Wasn't
exactly a great game, with wind, rain, and the fact that Aberdeen
had only 6 players (don't worry, we had 5 extra)."

"Thank you to everyone who came to Perth yesterday for the
game against the Sheep. We won 7-3 but overall I think that we
were disappointed with the fact that we were unable to do more,
since we had to supply Aberdeen with five of our players. It
would have been far more preferable to have had our full squad
available since we are keen to get more 11-a-side practice before
WorldNET.
I think we all enjoyed the surface! Despite the expense I think
everyone would agree it was ideal conditions, perhaps we should
think about playing there again, or finding a similar surface in
Edinburgh or elsewhere."

"What was the general after match chat on Saturday then as I
obviously missed it? Didn't enjoy the game at all. Probably a lot
to do with the weather."
- Keith FA
"Pish! Aberdeen were rubbish because they couldn't get a
team together. We couldn't play about with substitutions. It was
raining.
I think that four at the back will work better than five, I liked
the wing-backs idea but as you saw on Saturday it didn't work too
well."
