A last
minute switch of venues to Dalgety Bay didn't do Parsca any favours as they lost
convincingly to some kind of Rangers team or something like that.
A curling shot from the edge of the box was the first to beat Steven Clark, trying his hand at goalkeeping to allow Keith Mackie to show off his silky footwork up front, and a second followed soon afterwards as a result of a penalty conceded by Mark Falconer.
Parsca were certainly not short of chances - Grant Cotter fired one effort wide and saw another saved by the keeper; the keeper also did well to save efforts from Colin McKean and Callum Norris.
Despite the pressure, the Rangers team/work team/whatever they were extended their lead just inside the second half. Steven Clark made a couple of fantastic saves but alas hideously misjudged a free kick that was sent his way and watched it disappear between his arms into the net.
Parsca continued to make chances, with Johnnie MacDougall first heading wide from Grant Cotter's corner and then mis-hitting a shot into the path of Keith Mackie, who dribbled round the keeper but hit the post from a tight angle.
A free header at the back post made it four-nil and the defeat was rounded off with a free shot from ten yards following some poor marking in the Parsca box.
