Parscelona managed their second win on the trot against visitors Motherwell after going a goal behind early on. Having been put under considerable pressure in the opening stages a couple of great saves by Keith Mackie and the waving away of a couple of half-hearted penalty claims from the visitors meant that the home team avoided conceding an early goal.

In terms of chances created for themselves, Parsca were reduced to a long range effort from Grant Cotter and came close when Fraser Clark was well-tackled when through on goal.

It didn't last though, and just before half time an FPC striker managed to outjump Johnnie MacDougall on the goal line and nod home from close range.

Parsca came out looking more determined in the second half and Grant Cotter was posing some real threats. He was unlucky first to hit the side netting and then another effort came back of the cross bar Keith Mackie somehow managed to send the rebound over the bar.

The equaliser came eventually from an Alan Maxwell penalty after Callum Norris was shoved in the box. Motherwell might have regained their lead had it not been for a superb goal line block, via the post, by Jamie Wilson.

As it happens it was Parscelona who were to take the lead when a slack header by an FPC defender fell to the feet of Fraser Clark, who marked a rare return to Parscelona duty with a goal, sliding it under the Well keeper from ten yards.

Fraser Adamson, Johnnie MacDougall and Grant Cotter all had good chances to extend the lead but the game was eventually finished off with a third goal for the home team. Keith Mackie turned well using Grant Cotter's run as a dummy, but when his shot was saved Grant nipped back in to bury the rebound. Ross McGregor also had a good attempt before the game was out but the scoreline remained 3-1.
