Some place I can't remember the name of, Livingston
A late
collapse saw Parscelona on the wrong end of another humping despite a close
encounter with the lads from Livingston.
Livingston took the lead in the first half when Keith Mackie, Mark Falconer and their striker were involved in an Ally Maxwell-Grant Johnson-Stewart Petrie type incident that saw the home team's striker nip in between keeper and defender and poke the ball home from close range.
Parscelona were denied an equaliser when a good through ball from Grant Macleod found Alan Maxwell but his effort was well saved by the Livi keeper.
Livingston got their second before half time blah blah blah not closed down blah blah not cleared, etc. Is anyone even interested - are they, really?
Parscelona could have grabbed one early in the second half when Chris Ozog made a mazy run into the box. However, rather than pass to Alan Maxwell who was right next to him shouting for it, he decided to shoot. His shot went straight at the keeper and rebounded back out to Alan but by this time the ball was slightly behind him and the shot hit the bar. Chris will make out that this was a poor finish by Alan, but this is clearly not the case and since Alan is the one who writes these bloody things, you're going to damn well hear me abuse my position as webmaster and labour the point a bit more. He should have passed it. ARE YOU LISTENING ZOG?
ARE YOU?
YOU SHOULD HAVE PASSED IT.
HONESTLY, LOOK AT YOU, WITH YOUR STUDENT CLOTHES AND YOUR CRAZY ATTEMPT AT A BEARD, "Ooooh, listen to me, I'm the raging chutney ferret Chris Ozog and I'm too good to pass to nasty Alan Maxwell, I'll just shoot straight at the keeper and blame Alan instead, oooooh, isn't Signs a really bad film..."
LET ME MAKE IT ABSOLUTELY CLEAR:

Anyway, in an attempt to get back into the game, Parscelona moved Jim Norris from defence up front but it all went wrong. The overcrowded attack meant that every time the ball was kicked forward Parsca had someone offside and at the other end the gaping hole in the middle was exploited by Livi, who managed to waltz through it and score three more goals, leaving Keith Mackie with little chance to save them. At the end of the day, I blame Chris.
Parscelona squad: A. Maxwell, Alex Mercer, G. Macleod, S. Manson, M. Falconer, K. Mackie, J. Norris, D. Mackie, C. Lister, J. Wilson, C. Ozog, J. MacDougall
